C21’s upcoming Nonhuman Turn Conference is generating quite a bit of buzz in the vast world of the web. As Adrian Ivakhiv suggests, “The list of speakers reads like a “who’s who” of the neo-ontological, speculative-realist crowd in cultural and media theory.”
Speakers at breakout sessions, such as Adrian Ivakhiv, Troy Rhoades, and Shane Denson, are sharing their abstracts on their blogs. Plenary speaker, Tim Morton, continues to offer updates. On Twitter, participants are gathering a list of Nonhuman Turn participants who tweet, using the hashtag #c21nonhuman.
For more information about the conference, check out the C21 website, as well as the Nonhuman Turn Conference page on this blog. The schedule on the blog includes abstracts of the papers – just click on the paper title.
